Sandalwood is known for its mild cleansing action and of course for its typical scent that is earthy, spicy and slightly sweet. Though women love the scent too, it does make a great additive for products designed for and targeted to men.  Since this product is steam extracted, the scent is much lighter than straight sandalwood oil, which means some people who generally don't like the scent of sandalwood might enjoy this lighter version.
